Wiggly Field in Monroe has been repaired and is open! The winter policy of the south parking lot closure and the removal of the wire fencing through winter remains in effect. The City of Monroe crew worked hard to repair all of the wood fencing and gates and have moved the agility equipment back into the park. The City applied for disaster relief funds for the damages, but there was not enough damage County-wide to trigger disaster relief funds, so the City is making repairs as they can afford. The City does not have a source for free wood chips at this time, but will add wood chips periodically as they find them. Please email us if you have any leads on free wood chips.
